今回は”うすはりグラス”の中でも機械で作られた強化ガラスの商品です。

Today as well, I've prepared some pieces that I would love for you to see.

I hope you enjoy them—thank you for joining me.

Today, I’d like to show you these glasses laid out here,
known as hari glasses. A while back, in one of our previous videos,
I introduced handmade usuhari glasses—ultra-thin glassware—and these are in that same category.

Today, I’d like to introduce machine-made usuhari (thin-walled) glasses.

While they’re not handmade, they are thin yet reinforced—significantly stronger than ordinary glassware.

Usuhari glasses are known above all for their delicacy and visual elegance. Made from ultra-thin glass, their most outstanding feature is the incredibly refined feel at the rim when you drink from them.

Beer tastes exceptional when enjoyed from an usuhari glass the delicate thinness and smooth rim make for an outstanding drinking experience. However, because handmade versions are so thin, they’re also quite fragile. In some cases,
they can even crack just from being wiped.

To reduce the frequency of breakage, manufacturers have
put a lot of thought into developing glassware that is thin yet durable.

The glasses you see here today are the result of those efforts.

Here, we have a few types of glasses: this one for enjoying a small pour of beer, and others like these that are typically used for sharing bottled beer among several people.

We also have glasses in this area that are suitable for drinks like mizuwari (whiskey with water), as well as slightly larger ones like zombie glasses.

Those are the types we've prepared here today.

Of course, you can choose the size based on how you plan to use the glass.

If you look closely, you'll notice that some glasses have a slightly flared rim, while others have a straight,
vertical shape like this one.

Please feel free to choose based on your personal preference.

Since straight-sided glasses like these aren’t typically stacked,
it’s best to select them based on shape and design.

Now then, today I’d like to pour some beer and chuhai into the glasses so you can see how they look in use.

本日も是非、皆様にご覧になっていただきたい食器をご用意していますので、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

本日はこちらに並べてあるグラスですね。
その中でも”うすはり”と呼ばれているグラスです。

うすはりグラスは以前にも手作りのうすはりグラスをご紹介させて頂いているんですけれども、今日は機械で作られたうすはりグラス、手作りではないんですが薄手のしかも強化ですね。
通常のグラスよりだいぶ強いグラスを今日はご紹介させていただいています。

うすはりグラスは本当にまず繊細さと言いますか、見た目の美しさ。
薄いガラスでできていて、何よりも飲み口がすごく良いです。

うすはりグラスで飲むビールの味は格別なものがあります。

うすはりグラスはそんな繊細で飲み口がすごく良いんですが、どうしても破損が起こりがですよね。

薄いので拭いているだけで割れてしまう。なんて事もあるんですけれどもそういったマイナスの面を改善する為にメーカーの方も色々工夫されています。
薄いんだけれども強い。
そういった商品を開発されていまして、今日並べた物はそういった商品です。

こちらにはビール用のグラス。
「ニューリオート5タンブラー」「薄氷うすらい一口ビール」「薄氷　矢来カット　一口ビール」「シルクライン　タンブラー　185ml」
一口ビールや瓶ビールなどを何人かで注ぎあって飲むグラス。

こちらは水割りに使える様なグラス。
「薄氷うすらい10タンブラー」「シルクラインタンブラー　305ml」「ニューリオート11タンブラー」

あと、ちょっと大きめのゾンビグラス。
「シルクラインゾンビー　300ml」「シルクラインゾンビー　360ml」「シルクラインタンブラー　455ml」

そういったグラスを用意しました。
用途でサイズは選んで頂ければと思います。

用意したグラスは横から見ると若干口が広がっているグラスと真っ直ぐのグラスがあります。
好みで選んでもらえればと思います。
